Islands of Adventure Named Top Theme Park in the World for Fourth Year in a Row

For the fourth year in a row, Universal’s Islands of Adventure has been named the number one theme park in the world by TripAdvisor! Additionally, many other Central Florida theme parks made this list:

  4. Universal Studios Hollywood – Los Angeles, California
  5. Universal Studios Florida – Orlando, Florida
  6. Disney's Animal Kingdom – Orlando, Florida
  7. Europa-Park – Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany
  8. Tivoli Gardens – Copenhagen, Denmark
  9. The Island in Pigeon Forge – Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
  10. Disneyland Park – Marne-la-Vallee, France
  11. SeaWorld Orlando - Orlando, Florida
  12. Beto Carrero World - Penha, Brazil
  13. Disneyland Park - Anaheim, California
  14. Disney's Hollywood Studios - Orlando, Florida
  15. Disney California Adventure Park - Anaheim, California
  16. Silver Dollar City - Branson, Missouri
  17. Walt Disney Studios Park - Marne-la-Vallee, France
  18. PortAventura - Salou, Spain
  19. Universal Studios Singapore - Sentosa Island, Singapore
  20. Hong Kong Disneyland - Hong Kong, China

  23. Leolandia - Capriate San Gervasio, Italy
  24. Paultons Park - Romsey, United Kingdom
  25. Universal Studios Japan - Osaka, Japan
While we want to congratulate Universal's Islands of Adventure and all the other parks that made the list, we personally don't agree with some of the rankings (how is Walt Disney Studios Park better than Efteling and PortAventura?!) What do you think? Be sure to share your thoughts with us.

  1. Does anyone find it odd that places like The Island in Pigeon Forge, a tiny Fun Spot-like attraction that I strongly suspect no one outside of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee has heard of, are listed above world-class, world-renowned destination theme parks like every Disneyland and SeaWorld Orlando? Le Puy du Fou admittedly looks pretty cool, though it doesn't have rides as far as I can tell and is less popular than Disneyland Paris. And where is Discovery Cove, the park which has won numerous awards and repeatedly topped lists -including this one, multiple times- ranking theme parks?
