  1. Thanks! I was wondering when the Under Armour store would open.

  2. I'm very glad Pleasure Island is dead and buried, because this is already a huge improvement, and will be beautiful when finished. I'd love to see a monorail connection with Epcot.

  3. R.I.P. Pleasure Island. I'm so not excited about Disney Springs. Just what we needed, another shopping mall. At least Pleasure Island was something different. Looks like many of the same stores already in Orlando at Mall At Millenia and Florida Mall

  4. I don't miss Pleasure Island at all, but I'm also older than I used to be. I'm content walking around with a beer at Disney Springs while the ladies shop and we all eat ourselves silly. There are plenty of bars at or coming to Disney Springs, including places like bowling if you're looking for more activities. If you want a dance club, go elsewhere, but I'm fine with that since I'm 45 and don't visit those types of places anymore. Disney is about families, and Disney Springs fits that model far better than Pleasure Island. If you miss Pleasure Island, visit Universal City Walk. No offense intended. Different strokes for different folks, that's all I'm saying.

  5. Whether any of these stores can be found at another Orlando area mall is irrelevant. The overwhelming majority of Disney World guests aren't going to drive 25-30 (or more with traffic) minutes to go to a mall.

  6. I'm 44 and I miss Pleasure Island immensely. I don't frequent night clubs as much as I did in my 20's, but Pleasure Island was completely different than any typical night club. I could go and laugh at a comedy show, get sucked into The Adventures Club, or dance at 8Traxx or Mannequins. I could hang out with my friends, my parents, my family. It was a great time! As far as spending time with my kids, well, I had all week when I was on vacation at the parks, but Pleasure Island was a getaway. I will always miss that place!
