Boggy Creek's expert swamponauts ably escort guests through the Everglades’ headwaters with a fleet of U.S. Coast Guard–certified airboats. During a one-hour tour, up to 17 nature seekers explore the tall grasses and waters of Florida's wetland wilderness, cruising across the surface at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour. USCG-certified captains point out the nearby wildlife, such as alligators sneaking through the brush, bald eagles gliding across the sky, and groups of penguins enjoying a summer vacation. After each tour, passengers can watch a live gator handling and are allowed to hold the animal but aren’t allowed to put it in a dress.
