Islands of Adventure: Late Summer Update (PART 5)

Welcome to PART 5 of this Islands of Adventure update (PART 4 can be found HERE).

Time to continue to walk around the very colorful Toon Lagoon:

This didn't work:

Existing midway games:

Still nothing going on here:

Our last stop will be the Marvel Superhero Island:

Yep...

This area of  the queue of The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man was recently refurbished:

The futuristic vehicle (a photo-op) near the Fantastic 4 Cafe is still missing:

It looks like the net underneath the first drop of The Incredible Hulk Coaster was recently changed:

It's blue now:

As we were leaving, we noticing that they were getting ready for a special event at Port of Entry:

And that should be all for now. As usual, we look forward to your comments (hoping that they won't touch the usual subject, though...), and we really hope you enjoyed viewing the pictures we took during our latest outings to this great theme park. We strive to deliver you the best theme park photo-reports, so let us know if there is something we should do to make them even better. We love feedback. Have a great day for now!

  2. Thank you very much for your feedback, Anonymous!

  3. Thank you for the great pictures! Some are from a surprising point of how I've never seen that location. Also thank you very, very, very much for the high resolution construction pictures. I really took my time to study them!

  4. It really perplexes and actually angers me about your stance on Potter as it makes NO SENSE when you're willing to post construction.

  5. We are posting construction photos because they show the new train station that is going to have a ride connecting the two parks. We consider it to be a mean of transportation, that's why we cover the construction.

  6. Jurassic Park Games look like they should be done by November. I guess it's Universals version of Dinorama.

  7. Does it really matter that it's a means of transportation? You know what it's going to be themed to. Why even bother?

  8. It's a magical train station in a magical world humans (muggles) can't see with magical happenings on the "transport" with attacks from dark creatures and also links the two fictional magical lands! Such bizarre inconsistent thoughts! How weird.

  9. y'all are dumb...OTPN is awesome and reigns supreme

  10. I don't even understand why religious beliefs would stop someone from taking photos of attractions based on a children's novel that no one is suggesting is supposed to be real. Surely Jurassic Park would be left out too? After all, in that film the characters were literally 'playing god'.

  11. There are plenty of other websites where you can find Potter photos. Orlando Informer, Amusement Pics, Orlando United, All Around Orlando... the list goes on. If the site's stance bother you, I'm sure the administrators would be more than willing to cancel your subscriptions and give you your money back. Oh wait...

  12. Most Disney themes are "magical". They even have a "magic" kingdom. Jesus is concidered "magical" What's so bad about Harry's magic???

  13. @Anonymous (before "smarter than you"): We try to be as consistent as possible, as the reasons behind our stand are very important, much, MUCH more important than this site. That being said, we are by no means perfect, so we can make mistakes sometimes.

  14. I think OTPN that people need to understand your reasons for not covering HP. If your site was only about Disney, then what happens at Universal would be insignificant. Your name implies that you will talk about all the theme parks in Orlando- granted, mostly the big parks. Yes, people can go to other sites for HP info, but you still cover the aspects of Universal that relate directly to HP and that would be the new train and Diagon Alley, aka London. It is that inconsistency that upsets your readers. If faith is the reason to avoid HP, then completely avoid it for everything that happens with HP. I would suggest to leave a disclaimer at the top of your site that for personal reasons, HP will not be discussed on the site at any level. This way it is clear to everyone and you do not appear hypocritical. Then everyone can stop talking about it, and enjoy your site (which I do) for the stuff you do present.

  15. Perfectly put above. Inconsistency and confusion lead to frustration. Disclaimers and an actual explanation would be hugely beneficial as "religion" doesn't explain this at all. HP is not anti religion in any way and is a simple story about love that involves magic the same as most Disney stories.

  16. OTPN, please disregard the insensitive and rude comments left by the same Anonymous repeatedly above. Clearly he is a bully and likes to push other's buttons. Don't listen to his hateful comments. He knows you don't want to put certain things on your site (does he know you have the right to put whatever you want/don't want on your site?). It is not as if he pays to come here. Yet on every Universal report he is the first one to comment, belittling you and your beliefs. 99.9% of your readers appreciate all you do and we don't feel entitled for you to give us anything. Don't let this one bad seed get under your skin. Perhaps you should start monitoring comments so none of this trolling will continue to taint your updates. Keep up the good work!

  17. Seriously, you really think it is the same writer? 5:59 anonymous is me, and shock of shocks, I'm female! I would hardly call what I wrote as insensitive and rude. I thought I was being pretty diplomatic. By the way, even if some comments appear to be from the same person, it is possible that there are people who have the same questions. I also think that no one is being rude, except maybe yourself!

  18. Definitely not the same person as I'm one of them and have only done so here. I'd suggest 90% of people do mind as they don't understand the reasoning that is inconsistently evidenced which is frustrating. If feelings are that high about it, why visit the park at all or post pictures? Trolling is a ridiculous thing to call it. Free speech? Debate?
