Islands of Adventure: Late Summer Update (PART 1)

Good afternoon Orlando Theme Park News Readers. As always, it is a pleasure for us to "see" you again (we can't really see you, it's just a way of saying. Still, nice to have you back!). Today we are going to bring you back to Islands of Adventure to see how work is proceeding in Jurassic Park and how the new train station is looking. In addition to photos that we took just a couple of days ago, we are also including just a few week-old photos that we wanted to share with you as well (we will let you know which ones are older, just to let you compare the progress that was done in about seven days). Let's begin right away. As you know, we don't like losing time:

First of all, enjoy some photos of the main entrance area of the park:

Inside the park:

A new sign advertising the EXPRESS service was recently installed in the Port of Entry area of the park:

Very quiet:

Work on the park's new Starbucks location continues:

- NOTE: The following seven (7) photos were taken about a week ago -

- NOTE: the following are more recent photos -

Notice that the old signs have been painted over (compare with the previous older photos):

The screen that shows the park's wait times was down last week. It only showed the park's logo:

It was working again a couple of days ago. Here you are the wait times:

  1. I wish Universal would upgrade their Wait time signs at the entrances of both parks. I remember seeing a wait time sign at the back side of IOA that had a digital screen similar to Epcot's which is nice, now if only the main wait time signs reflected this change too.

  2. You scared me there for a minute. It'd be bad if you could see me since I usually read this blog on my phone while laying in bed in my underwear.
