Islands of Adventure: The Train is Coming (PART 2)

Welcome to PART 2 of this new Islands of Adventure update (PART 1 can be found here).

Let's now take a look around The Lost Continent and the nearby construction area:

The park was really full:

Work on the new train station (and the surrounding area) continues:

Note the new structure taking shape:

Time for some special behind-the-walls photos:

Take a look at how big the (still rumored) train station is getting:

Rumors say that the already existing train (a photo-op) will not be removed, as it will not interfere with the new train (which will actually move from station to station):

And that is all for now...

Time to leave behind the huge crowds:

Thank you very much for reading, and see you later with more news and updates.

  1. I'm curious why you're morally comfortable with construction of an area that you'll be uncomfortable with when complete or labelled?

  2. Nothing has been officially confirmed by Universal. All we know is just speculation, that's why we continue to cover the progress of the work in the area.

  3. "Morally comfortable?" Seriously? You cover everything at the Disney parks with Witches, sorcery, and magic, everything in the New Fantasyland features one of the above with the exception of Dumbo. That doesn't make any sense.

  4. So, just to be clear, once Universal announces what this is to the public, you are going to completely ignore the MASSIVE construction project taking place in the parks like it's not even happening?

  5. Here's a marvelous idea, how about we actually appreciate everything OTPN puts up and stop beating this dead horse already. Jeez every single time it's the same old arguement. Whoever runs this site can do whatever they want with it and you all complaining about their moral compass isn't going to make the moderator change their views. So suck it up buttercups or leave. I for one am more than grateful for all the pics that are posted and love this website. Please keep up the fantastic work and ignore those who don't have anything better to do than try to sway a moderator's views despite them recieving a FREE service.

  6. We don't know what to do.. When we don't post photos of that area we receive negative comments. When we do post photos, we still get negative comments...

  7. The train is not a rumor. It is happening. It will have LED screens inside the train that act as windows showing your journey...since the actual view would be of backlot buildings and parking.

  8. Get off your moral compass! You don't like what is happening at Universal, don't go! It's an amusement park for goodness sake! Go to Holy Land instead! In the meantime, the rest of us 21st. century people like to know what's happening at this park. Thanks OTPN for all your hard work!

  11. You can see pictures of every inch of the parks all over the internet. I cannot begin to understand people complaining that this or that isn't covered here.
Also: OTPN doesn't cover areas of Disney that they're uncomfortable with. I don't agree with their views, but at least they're consistent.

  12. I love the fact that you take pictures of the rest of the park and if people want to see pics of Harry Potter there's loads on the net. I enjoy this site and I know that that I wouldn't see any of this next to Sept 2016.
