Immersive "Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser" Experience Permanently Closes at Walt Disney World

The very last Guests to stay at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser officially departed the Halcyon on September 30, 2023, marking the final day of operations of this unique and immersive experience. 

Since the location opened, its Cast Members, Crew, and Imagineers have been praised by fans and recognized for setting a new bar of excellence in Guest service. In fact, according to the company, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser was one of the highest-rated experiences by Guests in the history of Walt Disney World.

This new type of immersive vacation was described as a two-night, cruise-style itinerary where Guests could become the "hero of their own adventure" in an experience that surrounded them 24/7 in Star Wars storytelling.
