Islands of Adventure Update: Circus McGurkus Temporarily Closed, Minor Refurbishments, & More

This morning, we will be visiting Universal Islands of Adventure to check out all that's new since our last visit, and we are so excited to invite you to follow us along as we do so! Let's begin our tour of the park by exploring the park's main entrance (including the iconic Pharos lighthouse):

 

Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-Pendous is currently closed for refurbishment:

 

Seuss Landing is one of our favorite lands:

 

The Lost Continent:

 

Nothing is happening yet in the building formerly housing Poseidon's Fury:

 

This is such a beautiful area... We truly hope it will be utilized for something new in the near future:

 

Wait times were very low when we visited the park:

 

A misspelling of the word "September" can be seen below:

 

Another part of this land that is still vacant is the Court of Miracles/The Eight Voyage of Sindbad Stunt Show:

  

A few sections of the façade may need some attention:

 

Other than that, the area look beautiful:

 

The theater was accessible to Guests:

 

Most of the props used in the stunt show are still sitting mostly untouched:

Jurassic Park:

 

Inclement weather caused VelociCoaster to be temporarily closed to Guests:

 

A small section of the pathway in front of Pizza Predattoria may need to be fixed soon as it could become a hazard to Guests:

 

Continuing our tour of Jurassic Park:

 

The rock climbing wall that used to be in this area is gone:

 

Minor refurbishment work is currently still taking place in Camp Jurassic:

 

Some of the water features were turned off:

In Toon Lagoon, the Marmaduke photo-op is temporarily unavailable:

The relatively new kiosk located across the street from The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man didn't get its permanent signage yet:
