Universal Orlando Resort Reopens to Select Guests with Limited Offerings Following Storm

Earlier this afternoon, Universal Studios Florida, Universal's Islands of Adventure (park reopened at 3 p.m.), and Universal CityWalk reopened to Guests staying at any of the on-site hotels.

Since many Team Members were not able to report to work due to the tropical storm and some attractions are still being inspected for safety reasons, only a small number of offerings was open, including Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Simpsons Ride, Stormforce Accelatron, and a few others.

Here's the official message shared by Universal Orlando Resort on Facebook and Twitter:

Universal Studios Florida and Universal City Walk are now open with limited experiences for Universal Orlando hotel guests only on Thursday, Nov. 10. Universal's Islands of Adventure will reopen with limited experiences for Universal Orlando hotel guests only at 3 p.m. Universal's Volcano Bay remains closed today.

We will resume full operation across our entire destination for all guests at our regularly scheduled hours on Friday, Nov. 11.
