SeaWorld Update: Ice Breaker Construction, Antarctica's Issues, and More (PART 3)
Thank you for joining us for the third part of this new SeaWorld Orlando photo-report. Let's wrap things up by checking out the theoretical hourly capacity of some of the park's main rides and attractions:
The ride portion of Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin was down due to technical issues:
MAKO: In a span of 10 minutes, 6 trains were dispatched at Mako. At this rate, a total of 36 trains would be dispatched in one hour, resulting in a THC (Theoretical Hourly Capacity) of 1,008.
KRAKEN: In a span of about 12 minutes, 4 trains were dispatched on Kraken: Unleashed. That means that every hour a total of 20 trains would be dispatched, resulting in a THC (Theoretical Hourly Capacity) of 640. The wait time is only 5 minutes yesterday evening, with only 2 trains operational.
JOURNEY TO ATLANTIS: In a span of 10 minutes, we noticed that 16 vehicles were dispatched. That means that every hour a total of 96 boats would be dispatched, resulting in a THC (Theoretical Hourly Capacity) of 768.
MANTA: In a span of roughly 10 minutes, 6 trains were dispatched on Manta at SeaWorld. That means that every hour a total of 36 trains would be dispatched, resulting in a THC (Theoretical Hourly Capacity) of 1,152.
