Wild Arctic still features one of the best animal exhibits ever created:

This is nothing major, but we recently noticed these new banners showing some of the food offerings available at Mango Joe's:

Heading to the Shamu Stadium (we are surprised the theater has not been renamed yet):

In case you were wondering, the stadium has a capacity of 5600 Guests:

The One Ocean show recently received some adjustments. From what we were able to see, it appears that SeaWorld cut the entire intro portion of the show. We are not sure when the show changed, but the backstory has been removed and the killer whales now come out as soon as the show starts:

The updated show lasts about 20 minutes:

Let's take a quick look around the rest of the park:

Antarctica was almost completely empty ten minutes before the park closed for the day:

  1. Sea World to Update Wild Artic with better simulators, a new movie with a different story. There are no more polar bears inside so a either a story change or another Polar bear would be wise. The film is showing it's age, clothes hairstyles from the late 80's.

  3. I don't know what's up with One Ocean. The screens don't move anymore either, which always bothers me because it's obvious they're supposed to. At the beginning they're supposed to split apart to reveal the trainers from behind, but instead the trainers have just been ducking underneath it awkwardly and not using the upper platform. It's as if they're stuck in some weird transition to a new show, and they had already started dismantling the stuff for One Ocean when some executive canceled the new show. Same with Journey to Atlantis, which is still missing all story elements. And this is purely speculative, but it looks like something similar happened to Wild Arctic at some point, since that first room you enter is clearly meant to be a pre-show area with props and theming, but is now just a plain, empty room with a tv showing the same queue video from outside. I know they did a Polar Express overlay during the Christmas Celebration at least one year (and I wish they still did!); maybe that's when it happened? Regardless, it's just kind of sad when these not-so-little details are allowed to fall by the wayside.
