Construction Work to Impact Several Walt Disney World Roads in the Coming Weeks
Guests visiting Central Florida's theme parks and attractions should keep in mind that select roadways around the Walt Disney World Resort will be impacted by construction in the coming weeks. Continue reading to learn more about these impacts and keep in mind that they are subject to change due to weather conditions or operational needs.
Eastbound Osceola Parkway Closure
Beginning the nights of Sept. 27 and 28, eastbound Osceola Parkway (east of the Victory Way intersection) will be closed from 11 p.m.–6 a.m. Westbound Osceola Parkway will be open. During this closure, drivers should take the exit ramps onto World Drive to reach their destination. Drivers traveling to ESPN Wide World of Sports or northbound Victory Way will be detoured left or right onto Victory Way.
Northbound World Drive Overnight Ramp Closure
The Epcot Center Drive ramp and Vista Blvd ramp on northbound World Drive will be closed from 11 p.m.–6 a.m. on Sept. 27–28. Drivers should plan to access property by way of Bonnet Creek Parkway or Buena Vista Drive for an efficient route.
Overnight Closure of Parking Lot Entrance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The entrance into Disney’s Hollywood Studios auto plaza from northbound World Drive will be closed from 11 p.m.–4:30 a.m. through the morning of Friday, Oct. 5. During this time, drivers should use the Buena Vista Drive entrance or Osceola Parkway to reach the Disney’s Hollywood Studios parking lots.
Buena Vista Drive overnight closures on Oct. 1
As work progresses on the third Reedy Creek Improvement District parking garage and pedestrian bridge, concrete pouring will require portions of Buena Vista Drive to be closed during the evening of Oct. 1 through the early morning hours of Oct. 2:

- Eastbound Buena Vista Drive will be closed from the intersection near Team Disney to Hotel Plaza Boulevard from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- The entrance to Lime Garage will be closed beginning at 11 p.m. Guests may exit the garage to westbound Buena Vista Drive.
