Star Wars: Galactic Nights to Feature Projections on Tower of Terror

As previously announced, the popular Star Wars: Galactic Nights event (which was sold-out last April) is returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on December 16. This gala evening will be filled with out-of-this-world entertainment celebrating the entire Star Wars saga. Among many thrills in store, guests will be treated Hollywood-style to a red carpet arrival, iconic attractions with little to no wait time, amazing fireworks, and experts sharing new details about the Star Wars expansion.

In addition to all that, the latest installment of The Star Wars Show revealed some new experiences coming to Star Wars: Galactic Nights, including a projection show that will take place on Sunset Boulevard. According to the artistic rendering shown below, the Holywood Tower Hotel will be used as a backdrop for a new Star Wars-themed projection show.

  1. That doesn’t even make any sense. It just ruins the theme of the ride and might blind riders.

  2. It doesn't ruin the theme. It just changes it, temporarily, for a show. And the last time I checked, projectors can't blind people, so I think it's great!

  3. It's very cool! You have to check it out to see what they have done. Very impressive and gets DHS back to Christmas feeling after the Osborne lights are no more
