Newly Redesigned Park Maps Debut at Universal Orlando

In response to guest feedback, the Universal Orlando Resort recently introduced a new park map that focuses on the most important information to help Guests plan their day. The new guidemap features Universal’s Islands of Adventure on one side and Universal Studios Florida on the other. In addition, the new map includes many new features, including a calendar graphic for each park’s map to denote, and more clearly represent, the park operating hours (for 2 weeks).

Among the other new features of the newly redesigned guidemap, Guests will find the following:
  • Dining locations highlighted on the map to improve guest navigation;
  • Iconography (which is very similar to that used in Disney maps) based on guest feedback including pricing scale for dining options and indoor locations that operate during inclement weather;
  • A new layout that reduces the number of folds and improves ease of use;
Guests can pick up these new park maps at the front entrance of Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, as well as in select merchandise and food & beverage locations across property.
