Animal Kingdom Update: Rivers of Light & More (PART 1)

Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park currently has many ongoing construction projects around all of its themed areas. Work on the new Tiffins restaurant continues:

  1. When is the river if light show meant to open?

  2. I wonder if the theater area will be ultimately themed and named as an ancient temple of some kind. That would fit into the Everest region and culture, while esthetically softening the mental/visual edges quite a bit

  3. My sources say Rivers will debut on Earth Day.

  4. Yeah, I heard it will be open by April 22nd as well, with soft openings/testings as early as March.

  5. They have been running some of the floating barges at night for some time now.

  6. What time will the show be? Trying to see if we can see the show then go to dinner at the Rainforest cafe?

  7. Not sure of the time, but assume after dusk, considering there are lights and other multimedia effect happening. Along with some water and fire effects.
