Select Disney Resort Guests to Participate in Dining Test

Starting from now and through June 30, 2015, select Guests staying at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, or Disney’s Contemporary Resort have been (or will be) asked to participate in a dining test that will provide direct transportation to other resort hotel signature restaurants.
While anyone staying at the aforementioned hotel may be eligible to participate in this test, only pre-selected Guests will be able to do so during that time.

The signature restaurants that will participate in this limited-time test include the following:
  • Artist Point at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
  • Jiko at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
  • Flying Fish at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort.
As part of the test, Guests will receive complimentary round-trip taxi vouchers that will be delivered to their rooms upon arrival. By doing this, the Walt Disney World Resort hopes to better understand Guest's interest in resort-to-resort dining. If this test proves to be successful, the internal transportation system may receive some minor changes in the future. We will continue to keep you up-to-date.

  1. Oh, what a great idea! The time it takes to get between resorts can be longer than the entire meal. Hate taking taxis too as they always overcharge me ($32 to get from AK to the poly? Really?)

  2. Uber is to be the way to go, it cost us $8 to go from the Contemporary to Downtown Disney. And $6 to go from Downtown Disney to the Orlando Eye on International Drive.

  3. From monorail resorts it's so easy getting to another resort for dining with MK bus loop so handy. They should try this test at the moderate or value resorts where it's more difficult to get to other resorts for dining.
