ShareSpace Foundation’s Gala To Take Place on July 18

Actor Seth Green will join Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin, actor/aviator John Travolta, and a host of astronauts on July 18, 2015 at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex for Buzz Aldrin’s ShareSpace Foundation (SSF) Launch Gala.
Green has starred in numerous films and  television series including the Austin Powers trilogy, The Italian Job, Party Monster, Without a Paddle, Can’t Hardly Wait, Old Dogs (with Travolta), The Story of Luke, Yellow-bird, and many more.

Green is the co-creator/executive producer/primary voice talent and a writer/director on Robot Chicken, 2010 Emmy Award-winner for Outstanding Short Format Animation Program.

In 2012, Green and his partners created Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, a full-service animation studio. Green has always been fascinated by space travel and has done a PSA for NASA, moderated NASA's first San Diego Comic-Con panel and designed the current CASIS current patch for the 2015 ISS U.S. National Laboratory missions for research to benefit life on Earth.

“Seth’s wittiness, professionalism and love for the space program made him the perfect choice for moderating the program portion of our gala this July with Buzz and John,” said SSF Executive Director Linn LeBlanc. “Raised by an artist and math teacher, Seth knows firsthand the importance of STEAM and SSF’s mission.”

Anchored on Aldrin’s Apollo 11 mission anniversary, the black tie affair will both celebrate the first moon landing and kick-off SSF’s initiative igniting the spark in children for science, technology, engineering, math AND arts, so that young people may develop a lifelong, life-changing love for, and potentially a career in these fields.

A very limited number of tickets and corporate sponsorships are still available and may be secured at www.sharespace.org/ssf-gala or by calling 321-783-6836. Ticket costs, over fair market value, should be considered a tax-deductible donation.
