King Kong Construction Update: A Quiet Evening

A few days ago, our photographer Alex went back to Islands of Adventure to check out the current status of the work being done in the future King Kong themed area of the park. While it may seem that not too much progress has been done since our last visit, it was brought to our attention the fact that even more material was delivered on the site. We expect to see Universal pick up the pace once again after the beginning of next year. Take a look:

Even more pipes, steel parts, and more pieces of equipment were scattered around the site:

And that is all for now. Thank you for your support, and see you again real soon!

  1. We all know from blueprints and plans that there will be a moving/chasing animatronic figure. Am I alone in believing that this will be a Jurassic World attraction instead? Remember, the signs for Jurassic Park have come down and likely will be replaced with Jurassic World signs instead. Remember, Universal Studios isn't stupid! They are 6 months away from the movie premiere and 6 months away from opening this attraction! Forget King Kong.....bring on the hybrid T-Rex/Velociraptor!
