Islands of Adventure Update: Quiet Fall Morning (PART 1)


Enjoying the slow season in the Central Florida area is one of the best things one could possibly do. The weather is fantastic (mid-80s, cooler evening), the theme parks are less crowded that usual, wait times are lower, and people are - in general - more relaxed when visiting the area. Today you will get a taste of what a typical October morning looks like at one of the busiest parks in the world: Islands of Adventure. Enjoy this tour:

A we reported a few days ago, the floor in front of the entrance of the Comic Strip Cafe has been repainted. Its bright colors are back, and the area looks great after this quick refurbishment project:





Walls are up in front of Sweet Haven:



It looks like they may be working on the area where the Popeye statue usually stands:





Not open for the day yet (the ride opens at 10 a.m. during the slow season):

More pieces of the roof were installed since our last visit. The progress that is done in this are is so fast that we can hardly keep up. We would need to be there 24 hours a day:
