Islands of Adventure Update:Trains and Dinosaurs (PART 3)

Welcome to PART 3 of our newest Islands of Adventure photo-report, Orlando Theme Park News Readers! PART 2 of this same update can be found here.
In part 2 we continued to check out the new train station. After doing that, we moved on to Jurassic Park to see what work was being done around one of our favorite themed islands of the park. Let's continue to enjoy this virtual tour of the park, also checking on the construction taking place in the future King Kong area:

This is rumored to be the future new location for the T-Rex photo-op:

A new concrete pedestal can be seen behind the walls:

The former Triceratops Discovery Trail:

Queue poles have been placed in the area:

Moving along:

Part of the former T-Rex photo-op is still in place:

And they even still have a Team Member staffing it:

Work on the rumored King Kong themed area continues very quickly:

It's just dirt, for now...

Don't get too used to these awesome behind-the-wall shots. We are sure Universal will soon come up with clever ideas to complete obscure the view of this area. It just seems to easy to look behind the walls now:

From the other side:

The T-Rex statue is sitting right behind the Thunder Falls Terrace restaurant:

It's still awesome, in our opinion:

Toon Lagoon:

 Marvel Superhero Island:

  1. I think the Triceratops Discovery Trail area is going to be used as for a queue for Harry Potter. With the new land about to open, both lands are going to be insanely packed. While I don't see the current land reaching the same crowd levels, I do see a massive line for the Hogwarts Express forming at both parks so the Triceratops Discovery Trail will most likely be the overflow. The great thing about the train station locations at both parks is they are outside of the land so they can put people into two different groups. One line for people wanting to do the train and other to enter the land.
