Islands of Adventure Update: King Kong Progress (PART 1)


Welcome to our newest photo-report, Orlando Theme Park News Readers!
Today we are going to take a look around Islands of Adventure to check out on the progress being done in the various areas that are currently under construction. As always, we will focus primarily on the future King Kong themed area and the train station, but we will also take a general look around the rest of the park. So, without further ado, let us embark on this virtual tour of the park:




All the bamboo supports at the entrance of the park were recently repainted:





Port of Entry:







This part of the Port of Entry facade is currently being repainted as well. It still needs to be "aged":









Starbucks:



We never noticed this, but the umbrellas in front of the Starbucks have themed tops:

Some of the cutouts of the Marvel characters may need to be refurbished soon:

  1. I wish Universal would come up with a new show about the characters from Toon Lagoon to play at the Toon Lagoon Theater.
