Pop Century & All-Star Resorts Testing MagicBands ONLY

Starting today, only MagicBands will be given to Guests staying at any of Disney's All-Star Resorts:

"As part of our test-and-adjust process for MyMagic+, the MagicBand-only test currently underway at Disney’s Pop Century Resort will expand to Disney’s All-Star Resorts. Guests arriving on or after December 2, 2013 at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, on or after December 4, 2013 at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and on or after December 6, 2013 at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort will be issued only a MagicBand for use throughout their stay at the Walt Disney World Resort. This test will continue at Disney’s Pop Century Resort.

Guests will continue to engage in MyMagic+ testing in the same way that all other resort Guests do. Upon check in, Guests will receive their MagicBands if they did not receive them at home after customizing them in advance using My Disney Experience."

The MyMagic+ service is slowly being introduced in all of the Disney Resorts. The full implementation of all the different features of MyMagic+ should be expected by the beginning of next year. Regular Guests will then receive their MagicBands.
