Epcot Update: "The Land" News & More (PART 2)

Welcome to PART 2 of OTPN's latest Epcot photo-report (PART 1 can be found HERE).

It would be nice to see a refurbishment of the gorgeous Imagination! pavilion's facade:

It needs to be cleaned:

Let's now jump to Future World East:

The Universe of Energy is a really dated attraction:

That being said, they just refurbished most of the ride's vehicles. They look good:

At least that pavilion is still open. We can't say the same about this one, sadly:

Horizons The attraction-that-shall-not-be-named:

There were a lot of temporary signs around Mission: SPACE:

Test Track:

We are not sure, but it looks like these restrooms were repainted not so long ago:

Nearby, Mouse Gear still has the Epcot 30 merchandise display:

We shall now move on to World Showcase (SIDE NOTE: Unfortunately, we were not able to take photos of the first few pavilions on the west side of World Showcase, including Morocco and its new restaurant. We will get back to the park in the next few days to check on the status of the work. Thanks for understanding):

Needless to say, it was a very busy day:

In Norway, work on the waterfall seems to be finally done:

We didn't notice anything new, but something has surely been done:

Maelstrom's line was long:

Very long:

Our last stop, Mexico!:

That's all for now, thanks for reading! See you soon, and remember to always let your imagination run free!

  1. Is there any other theme park in florida with as many empty buildings or buildings with empty space as Epcot?
Shame this park continues to be popular, so many of these problems will never be fixed.

  2. Really enjoyed this update! Thanks! I like the Hops Mickey in Living with the Land. Also, the red planet looks nice after being refurbished but I still miss Horizons.

  6. The Worldshowcase really needs another ride. Look at the Maelstrom the line is so long because there aren't any other rides in the Worldshowcase. Hopefully they get a new ride!

  7. I really think that a new attraction round world showcase should go in the united kingdom area. They should get rid of that trading pins building behind it and built a ride that takes you on a black taxi ride round the history of the uk where the get to meet famous British stars past and present and after like Norway get to watch a movie. I love World Showcase better than future world. I have in the past taken hours to walk round it looking in the shops, enjoying the drinks&food and watching the entertainment. Epcot was my favorite park in 1993 when I was 12 years old and still is today.
