How The City of Orlando May Look in 2040

All of our Readers well know that every theme park and attraction in Central Florida is continuously growing and expanding. That being said, what about Orlando, the City Beautiful that hosts all of these great entertainment venues? Is the city looking to grow, expand, and become even more appealing and therefore continuing to live up to its title? Well, it definitely looks like the future of Orlando is only getting brighter and brighter.

Take a look at this official video shared by the City of Orlando, which shows just some of the many projects that include expanding the city and some of its infrastructures, while always keeping in mind the environment:

As we said before, these are just some of the great things that are in store for the City Beautiful. New stadiums, museums, entertainment venues, attractions, and - of course! - theme parks will continue to be added to the already impressive lineup of things to see and do in Orlando in the near future. Who knows, by 2040 we may see three or four new theme parks opening up, including the long-rumored fifth gate for the Walt Disney World Resort. One thing is certain: Universal Orlando's new water park and third theme park will be open by then.

  3. If Disney does indeed build a fifth gate, I'm pretty confident we'll see it well before the year 2040.

  4. I wonder if in 2040 there will still be a rumor of Six Flags coming to town.

  5. @ Kenneth,

If that was the case, say goodbye to all chances of a decent DC land at a park.
