Grand Opening of the Power Trip Coaster - PART 1

Fun Spot U.S.A. has held the grand opening of the new Power Trip Coaster just yesterday morning, July 2, 2011, at 10 a.m. Among the many people that were attending this event, there was Mr. John Arie Sr. (the owner of both Fun Spot Parks); Mr. Mark Brisson (the Director of Marketing), Mr. John Arie Jr. (the spokesperson in all Fun Spot's commercials, billboards and brochures), along with the rest of their family and many others (there was even a gator from Gatorland, really nice!).

The feeling of the event was very familiar, and we really liked that. All around the coaster, you could find free samples of the Power Trip Energy Drinks (which, to tell the truth, I enjoyed a lot), samples of energy bars, free face painting for kids, a stilt walker, and, as said before, even a bonus: Willy the Gator, from Gatorland.

After all the presentations and the ribbon cutting, a lot of people flocked to "test" the new roller coaster for free, and you could hear from their screams how happy they were! You will see an off-ride video of the coaster on PAGE 2 of this update, and we'll soon post a video of the entire ceremony. For now, we'd like you to enjoy some pictures of the event and of the coaster!:

I love the power trip coaster logo! The power button really expresses the meaning of the word "power":

Ready to roll?:

After just a few minute, a silt walker arrived. He was really entertaining:

Posing for a picture with the new coaster:

"Come to ride this coaster. Yeah, it's cool!"

After the ribbon-cutting ceremony was over, it was time to go and ride the coaster!:
