Good/Bad news for PI

WDWMagic has posted a great new update, saying that Pleasure Island (a section of DownTown Disney) is now receiving some REAL attention! This is really good news!

But, the bad news is that it looks like the "Adventurers' Club" is going to be... demolished!:

BET and Adventurers Club to be demolished and redevelopment work to begin? 

It looks as though things are about to get serious at Downtown Disney with the long planned development work. Disney yesterday filed papers with the county for redevelopment work, and most notably it mentions "Area development between Comedy Warehouse and the demolished BET/Adventurers Club". The clubs were closed back in September 2008 and have since sat empty. It now seems that these clubs will be demolished.

I know there are many "Adventurers" that will miss this club (all the others were not good, in my opinion), and it's sad that they can't just refurbish it.... It was one of the best-themed club ever.

At the same time, I'm very, very happy to hear that something is coming to this desolate place called Pleasure Island! What do you think?
