Islands of Adventures 09/2010 update

Here you are a new IOA update with a lot of new, small improvements being spotted throughout the park!
Let's start with an artistic photo:

The fountain continues to work, and that's great:

But it continues to be very dirty:

The temporary bridge is still "Team Members only":

The new brick facade on the side of the castle:

The Skipper boats will NOT return anytime soon:

Especially until this temporary bridge remains here:

We don't need this anymore:

Works on Triceratops Encounter??? More info on one of our previous updates:

Some more pictures of Jurassic Park:

Some things have been moved! Frostbite has been moved here, on the bridge to Toon Lagoon:

No sign here!:

Wow! Look at the garbage that's floating over there:

They were testing some logs of Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw falls, but the ride was open:

More booths have been moved:

Wossamotta U is now open DAILY:

Wimpy's is never going to reopen in my opinion:

Me Ship,, the Olive:

The whole area behind "Me ship" was closed to the public, probably for painting in progress:

This theater remains closed:

But "Matt Hoffman's Aggro Circus" may return soon, as all the props for the show are still there:

The Hulk is still rusty.... :

And very dirty!:

This was closed:

Some more attempts to take an artistic shot:

Thanks for viewing!!! Please post comments, and share the news!

  3. Rusty track, missing signs, moldy fountains, floating garbage. I give HP 6 months. Better see it soon before things start breaking.

  5. We can only hope that the attention around the Triceratop Encounter attraction means the start of the rest of IOA getting its much needed TLC now that Harry Potter is going smoothly.

  6. I have just returned from my annual visit to Orlando. I was really disappointed with Universal in general. Harry Potter was great, apart from the huge crowds and ride breaking down 3 times when we were in the queue. But as for the rest of the park, it was dirty, lots of things were closed, looking very aged and just a bit boring. We only stayed in the park 3 hours and the majority of that was in Harry Potter. Hulk is in major need of some tlc, I actually felt worried for my safety on it when I saw the state of the track! Hopefully now all the attention is off HP theyll pay a bit more attention to the other much needed maintenance.
