Administrator's news

Just a friendly reminder, today I'm going to take pictures for a double update about Downtown Disney and Disney Quest.

My pictures will focus especially on:

  • The ex-Virgin Megastore;
  • The new Little Missmatched store that replaced Starabilias a month or so ago;
  • The Planet Hollywood on location store (that closed a week ago);
  • Planet Hollywood itself;
  • Pleasure Island's remainings (I didn't enjoy the clubs because they were too loud and mundanes (too much stuff going on there), only the Adventurer's club was good, but now Disney really needs to replace them with some sort of attraction, store or restaurant. It's now only a pathway, and there's no pleasure to go there...;
  • The fantastic T-REX cafe';
  • Mc Donald's (that will be soon closed to be replaced by Pollo Campero)
  • DTD stadium (used for evening entertainment);
  • Of course, the World of Disney store (here in Florida we have the world's LARGEST Disney store, with thousands of Disney books, toys, clothes, pins, stuff, films, collectibles and much more! It's also fun to see how the theme of each is different!;
  • the Marketplace area;
  • Rainforest cafe' (that runs also the T-REX cafe');
  • Le Cirque du Soleil (that will have a new act during the show very soon... a special thanks Felipe);
  • of course, the interiors and exteriors of Disney Quest;

and if you have any special request, please write it in the comments!

Thanks for the attention! See you!

  1. La Nouba is changing? I love that show :) So incredible...seen it twice! So there is going to be a new story for the show and everything?

  2. I can't wait, Samuele.
    Do you know the ticket's price for la Nouba?
    Do you think it's better Cirque de Soleil or Blue Man Group?

  3. New Cirque Show at Downtown Disney?!?! :O

    Bigfoots:
    Cirque has acrobatics, theatrics, dance, live music, and comedy.

    Blue Man has comedy, live music, unusual musical instruments made out of tubes, and fun with paint.

    I've been to both and think they are very different, although they share some of the same elements in their shows.

  4. Samuele, do you mean an all new show, or are you talking about the new act on the show? the new juggler?

  5. Yes, Felipe, you're right. I'm very sorry, I have never seen La Nouba, so there was a misunderstanding... there's no new show unfortunately (or luckily, if you like the show like Marina), there's only a new jugglers' act..
    Thanks a lot Felipe, and sorry everybody for the wrong information. I will change the post soon.

  6. Not technically "wrong" info, Samuele ;) There are changes like you said! the chair balancing act is gone and the new juggler is in. If you hadn't even written that, then I wouldn't have gone to check, so it's thanks to YOU my friend ;) Enough apologizing! THANK YOU SO MUCH for your updates!

    PS: I LOVE LOVE LOVE Cirque du Soleil, but La Nouba is one of my least favorite shows actually, because of it's look. The other shows have a more other worldly look, and this one is more family oriented, so you actually had me excited for a second, haha! At least they are updating it a bit.

    PPS: Just because I say it's one of my least favorites, doesn't mean it's not an AWESOME show! everyone should still check it out if they have a chance. I just rank it lower than most other Cirque shows, but it's still Cirque and an amazing experience!

    By the way, i have to say that Blue Man Groups seems more adventurous..
