The new Shop Disney Parks mobile application (which allows Guests to find, buy, and also ship select merchandise products offered around the Walt Disney World Resort) has been improved thanks to the introduction of a great, new feature. In fact, it was recently announced that Resort Hotel Delivery (available only at Disney hotels) and Park Gate Pick-Up (delivery to the front of the park) are now available for Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.


Resort Hotel Delivery
Guests with a claimed resort reservation on their My Disney Experience profile can select Resort Hotel Delivery to have their purchases delivered to their hotel’s package pickup location. Orders made prior to 3:00 p.m. are ready for pick-up at the Guest’s resort the following day after 12:00 p.m.

Park Gate Pick-Up
Guests physically in one of the four theme parks can select Park Gate Pick-Up to have their purchases delivered to the in-park package pickup location. Orders can be placed up to three hours prior to park closing, and will be ready for retrieval at Park Package Pick-Up locations three hours after purchase.

To celebrate Shop Disney Parks, free shipping will be offered now through November 22 on all Shop Disney Parks standard ground Home Delivery purchases. This promotion applies only to standard ground delivery on orders sent to a single shipping address (not P.O. Boxes) and does not include shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands or other U.S. territories.

Park Gate Pick-Up will only display as a delivery option if Guest activates global positioning (GPS) on their device, is physically located in a Walt Disney World theme park, and the item ordered is available in that Park. Resort Hotel Delivery will only display as an option if the Guest has a current Disney Resort reservation linked in My Disney Experience and is not departing within 36 hours of purchase. If so, the delivery option on their “Review and Purchase” screen will automatically default to Resort Hotel Delivery when making a purchase.

Can Guests change the Disney Resort their Resort Hotel Delivery package is being delivered to if they will be moving to a different Disney Resort during their stay at Walt Disney World?
Yes, Guests may choose Resort Hotel Delivery to any Disney Resort within two days of check-in if they have a current Disney Resort reservation linked in My Disney Experience, and will not be departing within 36 hours of purchase.

Can Guests change the park their Park Gate Pick-Up package is being delivered to if they will be moving to another park during the day?
No, Guests choosing Park Gate Pick-Up may only ship packages to the front of the park (Package Pick-Up) they are physically present in at time of purchase. 

What “proof of purchase” do Guests need to provide when picking up their package(s)?
Guests will need to provide a photo ID, the credit card used to make the purchase and the order confirmation barcode located in the Order History screen within the Shop Disney Parks app on their mobile device.
