Social Media websites are now widely used around the world, with more and more people using them to reach companies (including theme parks) to share their feedback, ask questions, place reservations, or just to interact with them.
Most of the area's theme parks and attractions have social media accounts, but only a handful of them has an entire team assigned to interact with Guests on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and more. Universal Orlando is now one of them.


Just a few days back, the official blog of the Universal Orlando Resort posted the following update:

"[July 20, 2015] marks the official launch of our Social Media Engagement Center. From 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday thru Friday, you’ll find our team actively answering your questions on Facebook and Twitter. Our fans are finding new ways to connect with us every day through social media. We want to make sure we are there to listen, engage and have fun right there with you.


There are currently thousands of mentions of Universal Orlando across the social web. In the past year, we have been testing our Social Engagement Center model and have interacted with many of your tweets and private messages, and we have already seen some really great reactions.

Like all our guests in the parks, having fun is one of our highest priorities. Another is helping you make the most of the time you have with us. To do that, our engagement center team is partnering with our Guest Contact Center and Guest Services team to provide you with one cohesive experience on social media. Just @-tag us with @UniversalORL or use the #AskUniversal hashtag, and we’ll be there to assist you in any way we can.


The Engagement Center will not only give us the capability to listen to and talk with you, but also to make your experiences in the park better through feedback. We can also serve in helping you break down all of the vacation options that are available to you.
