One more photo of the new castle towers:
New shelter that will include a water fountain:
Behind the walls:
The view of the area from the Tomorrowland bridge:
Still on the east side:
The area is really becoming very beautiful:
An artwork depicting the expanded hub was recently installed on the temporary walls:
Interesting entertainment choice...
Moving on to the wets side:
The second themed shelter continues to take shape:
With all the new trees that have been planted throughout the hub, I would assume that the "big ugly wall" in the very last photo in your update, will eventually have some trees to disguise it. The fact that this gate is probably used by heavy equipment during the rehab process is probably why this area will be the very last to be completed......At least that's my hope!
The gardens within the hub are beautiful - it seems as though they have created this huge space from nothing. I can't even remember what it looked like before! Would be interesting to do a comparison once complete.
When are these shelters going to open??? My family and I are visiting Disney World soon and we can't wait to see the shelters!!!
