Islands of Adventure Update: Poseidon's Changes

We hope you are ready for a new Islands of Adventure update, as we have got a few minor news and updates to share with you today. Let's start first with a look around the beautiful Port of Entry:

Strangely, it looks like the work being done on this dome has not been completed yet:

The wait time from earlier this afternoon:

Not bad:

The sun setting in Seuss Landing:

Work around the Moose Juice - Goose Juice has wrapped up and is now complete:

New concrete has been poured:

Looking good:

In the Lost Continent, we noticed that water was not flowing on Mythos' facade:

This is concerning... We definitely hope they will fix this soon, as we don't want to see this fountain dry again:

Poseidon's Fury, on the other hand, recently closed for a short refurbishment, and it received some TLC:

Among the new additions are new projectors and possibly new LED lights in the main show room:

The best addition is - in our opinion - the change of projectors. The images on the water screens are now much clearer, and the the projections are not blurry like before (Sorry, photos are not allowed in the attraction):

Moving on, one of the themed carts of the Lost Continent is behind walls:

A peek behind the walls:

Work on the new train station continues:

A new stage is being built next to the Flight of the Hippogryph:

Let's continue our visit through the rest of the park:

Walls are still up around a fountain of Toon Lagoon:

The flower beds next to the entrance of the Comic Strip Cafe' have received some minor work:

It looks like they have been repainted:

This should be all for tonight:

We'll get back to Universal Orlando very soon...

And this concludes our Islands of Adventure update. See you real soon with a huge photo-report from Universal Studios Florida! If you would like a sneak-peek, we recommend you keep an eye on our official Facebook page, as we are thinking about posting a few photos... Have a great night!

  1. Would you happen to know if the stage that is being built near FOTH is where the Tri-Wizard Spirit Rally and Frog Choir perform? Is it for them? I think that an elevated platform for their shows would be nice.
