Busch Gardens' teaser videos

Two of Busch Gardens' teaser videos are now available on their official site dedicated ti the great, new roller coaster - CHEETAKA! By the way, this new coaster will indeed feature up-close encounters with cheetahs, and it will be mostly focused on speed, rather than on inversions (even though some rumors indicate that there may be a couple of inversions).

Just go to Busch Gardens 2011, and you will see some blank spots where it says "INSERT CODE" or something like that. There are two videos that are available as of today. The first video requires the password "CHASE", and it will show you the start of the ride itself, while the second video (that has been unlocked just yesterday) can be seen by submitting the password "RUSH".

Judging by these two new videos, what do you think? Will this new ride be thrilling enough for you?
It sure will! And the theming will be top-notch (not comparable to Disney standards, but close enough.)

More info are coming soon! Check that website weekly, as you may discover something new about Cheetaka every single week! See you soon, Cheetaka!

  1. Not a whole lot of rollercoasters I've ever heard of that don't have inversions, but having one focused almost completely on speed instead of loops and such? Not sure how that'll hold up, but a new coaster is a new coaster. We'll still ride it. ;)

  2. I'm with you on that - I can hardly wait to ride it! Wish they would send some of the green paint they used on this coaster over to Universal for The Hulk - it could use it!

  3. Hi all!! This looks like another copy of a Cedar Point Coaster named "Maverick" - which is one WILD RIDE and BTW Maverick's top speed is 70 MPH and that is how fast a "Cheetah" runs so I put two and two together - looks like this will be it!! Maverick is quite fun but very very fast and wicked on it's short spinning spurts! Woah!
