Access to Pool Areas at Select Disney Hotels to Be Controlled Starting From This Week
Starting from this week, access to pool areas at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels (as well as the main pool at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort) will be controlled during peak visitor times to ensure a more enjoyable and comfortable experience for all resort Guests. The following pool areas will be affected (more locations may be added as needed):
- Fuentes Del Morro Pool at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
- Beach Pool at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
- Big Dipper Pool at Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort
- Big Blue Pool at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Surfboard Bay Pool at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort
- Calypso Pool at Disney's All-Star Music Resort
- Fantasia Pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
- Hippy Dippy Pool at Disney’s Pop Century Resort
Guests wishing to use the pool areas at these resorts may be asked to show their MagicBand (or Key to the World Card), provide their room number, or show a distributed resort wristband. Guests not registered to the resort will be asked to use their registered resort pool, as outlined in the existing Walt Disney World Resort hotel policy.
This temporary change is designed to manage capacity, enhance Guest safety, and maintain the high level of service expected at Disney resort pools. Be aware that these occasional MagicBand/Key to the World checks may not take place every day.
