RUMOR: New "Walt the Dreamer" Statue to Be Installed on October 1, 2023 at EPCOT
As previously announced, a new statue created by Imagineers for EPCOT will soon be installed in a reimagined area of the park called Dreamers Point. Known as “Walt the Dreamer,” the statue represents Walt Disney gazing out at EPCOT, encouraging everyone to follow their dreams right along with him.
According to a rumor we heard, the statue is currently scheduled to be installed on October 1, 2023 (weather permitting); that said, Guests will have to wait a little while longer before being able to see it in person, as the World Celebration neighborhood at EPCOT (which includes Dreamers Point) will begin welcoming Guests this December.

World Celebration will unite the front of the park, tying together the other two new EPCOT neighborhoods, World Discovery and World Nature. The completion of the last of the park’s four neighborhoods is the latest major milestone in EPCOT’s multi-year transformation.
