SandSerpent Roller Coaster to Close Permanently on July 10 at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

Earlier today, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay officially confirmed that SandSerpent (one of the park's 10 roller coasters) will soon be retired to make way for an exciting new addition to the park’s Pantopia area. After 19 years of family-friendly fun, Guests will have the chance to ride the popular 5-story-tall roller coaster one last time before being permanently retired.

The attraction will continue to remain open to Guests (weather permitting) through July 9, 2023. The ride is scheduled to close permanently on July 10. Annual Pass Members will also receive exclusive early morning access to ride SandSerpent from June 30 through July 4.
