SeaWorld Orlando Update: Mako Repainting, New Construction Project, and More (PART 2)
Thank you for joining us for the second part of this new SeaWorld Orlando photo-report! Let's continue our tour of the park by exploring that area surrounding Kraken as well as the neighboring Pacific Point Preserve:
Speaking of the Pacific Point Preserve, Guests now have to utilize a temporary walkway (located past the main entrance of the Kraken roller coaster) that crosses a backstage area to reach the exhibit due to nearby construction:
Guests navigating this area can get a glimpse of the back of the building housing Antarctica - Empire of the Penguin:
Guests can also see the back of the station of Kraken:
The walkway ends near the sea lion feeding area:
These French doors look so out of place, but in a funny way!:
Construction walls surround the area between Pacific Point Preserve and Antarctica:
A positive aspect of this project is the fact that Guests can finally access the viewing area located at the back of the exhibit. For some reason, this area is blocked-off most days:
Construction continues in the future site of the rumored 2024 addition:
According to the latest rumors, this area will soon welcome... you guessed it, the park's 147th roller coaster!:
In all seriousness, we truly hope this addition will be more family-friendly and - most of all - appropriately themed:
Guests can also walk through the Sea Lion & Otter Stadium to access the Pacific Point Preserve when shows are not in progress:
As previously reported, the small aviary located near the Shark Encounter exhibit was removed:
The area doesn't seem to feature any animal as of now, but it does look great!:
The park was getting ready for Viva La Música!:
Mako is temporarily closed as the roller coaster is getting completely repainted!:

Infinity Falls continues to be one of the park's most popular attractions:
