New Restaurant Serving Puerto Rican Dishes Coming Soon to Old Town

A popular restaurant serving typical Puerto Rican food will open a new location in the Old Town entertainment district in the near future. The owners of "El Cilantrillo" (which is well-known for its big portions to share) opened their first restaurant in Kissimmee back in 2017. A second location opened in February 2020 close to the Orlando International Airport.

Now, they have a total of three locations, including the famous Florida Mall restaurant that also features concerts and celebrations. Each one has been designed with Puerto Rican influences from portraits of legends, artists, painted murals, and tastes of the island.

El Cillantrillo includes dishes like: “El Afrentao;” “El Dos Varas;” “El Parrandón;” stuffed mofongos; sorullitos de maíz; carne frita; chicharrón de pollo; fried plantains; “arroz cilantro;” and many more.
