Overnight Power Outages to Impact Select Areas of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa on Dec. 13-15

Guests staying at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in the coming days should keep in mind that there will be two scheduled overnight power outages at the resort on Tuesday, Dec. 13, into Wednesday, Dec. 14, and Wednesday into Thursday, Dec. 15, from 12-5 a.m. The outages will affect all areas in Building 6 (Sugarloaf), including:

• Guest rooms
• Elevators
• Hallway lights
• Stairwell lights

A limited number of backup power units will be available for Guests with medical equipment needs. Please, speak with Front Desk Cast Members for more information.

Building 7 (Conch Key) and Narcoossee’s will also be affected by these power outages, though these locations remain closed for refurbishment. The power outage will not affect other operating buildings around the resort.
