Lava Pool Water Slide Closing for Refurbishment at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Starting Jan. 3

Guests staying at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort next month should keep in mind that the Lava Pool water slide will be closed for refurbishment beginning January 3, 2023. The water slide is expected to reopen to Guests in early February.

While Guests may see or hear refurbishment work in the area, the Lava Pool will remain available throughout the duration of the refurbishment; only the water slide will be closed. The Oasis Pool will also continue to be available for use.
