Universal Orlando Resort Closing Early Today Due to Tropical Storm Nicole

Due to Tropical Storm Nicole, Universal's Volcano Bay is currently closed and will remain closed through Thursday, November 10. The water park is currently expected to reopen to Guests on Friday, November 11 (weather permitting).

The rest of Universal Orlando Resort, including Universal Studios Florida, Universal's Islands of Adventure, and City Walk, will close early on Wednesday, November 9 at 5 p.m. On-site hotels will remain operational.

The Universal Orlando Resort Guest Contact Center is currently experiencing higher than expected wait times and is currently assisting Guests whose travel is directly affected by the approaching storm. If your travel dates are after November 13, consider calling them back at a later date.

Universal Orlando anticipates a phased and delayed reopening on Thursday, Nov. 10. Additional updates will be shared soon.
