PHOTOS: Disney Unveils New Details About "Tiana's Bayou Adventure" Coming to Magic Kingdom

The 2022 D23 Expo officially opens its doors to fans in just a few hours, yet Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products already unveiled more details about some of the highly-anticipated projects in development across their destinations, including the new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction coming to Magic Kingdom Park in Florida and Disneyland Park in California!

One of the highlights of the Wonderful World of Disney exhibit is the scale model of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which can be seen below:

As you can see, Splash Mountain's façade is expected to receive a few changes, including the removal of the tree stump located at the top of the hill, the removal of the thorn bushes from the area adjacent to the splashdown, as well as the addition of a water tower and other cosmetic changes.

Coming to both the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort in late 2024, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will bring guests down the bayou along with Tiana, Naveen and their friends. Here's a first look at the model for the upcoming attraction and new artwork that expands upon the next chapter in Tiana’s story.
