Animal fans around the world know one of the best ways to get an all-access, behind-the-scenes look at the magic of nature at Walt Disney World Resort is by watching “Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.” This docuseries, produced by National Geographic, follows the amazing and compelling stories of the animals, and the incredibly talented people who care for them.

Just a few days ago, Disney officially confirmed that “Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom” will be back for a second season with even more compelling stories about these dedicated Cast Members and the animals in their care!

The series will provide updates on some of your favorite stars from season one along with stories that inspire connections with the wonders of the world around us. It will also include some new faces that are sure to warm your heart like Lily, her calves Aella and Humphry, and other members of the Masai giraffe family on Kilimanjaro Safaris. All Masai giraffe births at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park are part of the Species Survival Plan overseen by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums to ensure the responsible breeding of threatened and endangered species in managed care.
