All-New Nighttime Spectacular to Replace Harmonious at EPCOT in 2023

During the D23 Expo, the Walt Disney World Resort officially confirmed that EPCOT will receive an all-new nighttime spectacular during Disney’s 100th anniversary celebration! This new show will replace Harmonious later next year, continuing the park’s legacy of inspiring nighttime entertainment on World Showcase Lagoon.

According to rumors, the new show will incorporate some new special effects (including drones) and may even include reimagined barges that may not be as intrusive as the current Harmonious rigs.

While not officially confirmed yet, it is expected that EPCOT will be at the center of attention during the last few months of Disney’s 100th anniversary celebration. At that time, the company will highlight all the new attractions that will be open by then (including Journey of Water, CommuniCore Hall, and possibly some of the other additions that are still in development limbo) and may introduce a new event that celebrates the future of the park and the company as a whole.
