Walt Disney World Updates Theme Park Reservation System to Make it a More Seamless Experience

The Walt Disney World Resort introduced a theme park reservation system after reopening in 2020 as a way to manage attendance. Earlier today, Disney rolled out some exciting updates to allow Guests using the Park Pass system to enjoy a more seamless experience.

Making Disney Park Pass reservations on My Disney Experience is now even easier:
  1. Guests and Cast Members can now modify their Disney Park Pass reservation, including dates, park and party members (subject to availability), rather than having to cancel and re-book on My Disney Experience.
  2. Guests may also now book theme park reservations with different admission types – so whether you're an Annual Passholder, date-based ticket holder, or visiting with a Cast Member, you can all make your reservations at one time.

One of the most magical perks of being a Walt Disney World Cast Member is complimentary admission to the theme parks. Starting today, it’s easier to experience the magic with a few streamlined updates to book your next Disney Park Pass reservation.

Booking your next reservation is as easy as one, two, three! Just log into My Disney Experience, select your party and ticket types and view a theme park availability calendar right as you book. Cast Members, Annual Passholders, and other ticketholders can also book together in a single, seamless process! And, if your plans change, you can now modify the date and theme park of your reservation.

Also, don't forget to take advantage of your Cast-exclusive resort discounts! Once you’ve booked a Resort hotel stay and linked your reservation to your My Disney Experience account, you are eligible for Disney Park Pass reservations for your length of stay, in addition to your standard allotment of three reservations for your Main Entrance Pass or Self-Admission Pass.
