Former Merchant of Venus Store Reopening as a Seating Area at Magic Kingdom on Aug. 12

Magic Kingdom Park Guests looking for some shade, cool air, and a place to sit will be able to visit the Merchant of Venus beginning August 12, when the former merchandise location reopens as a temporary decompression zone.    

Merchant of Venus is located directly next to Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies, an ice cream shop found in the heart of Tomorrowland. The merchandise location originally opened in June 1994 replacing the Space Port. Merchant of Venus became themed to Stitch with the opening of Stitch’s Great Escape! in 2004.
