Disney's BoardWalk Update: Construction Continues in the Former ESPN Club Restaurant

Over the next few months, Disney's BoardWalk Resort will receive a variety of new offerings that Guests will undoubtedly love. From an updated lobby to new food & beverage locations, there will be a lot to enjoy when the resort's major refurbishment project is completed! Today, we will take a quick look around Disney's BoardWalk to see what's new and what will change soon:

BoardWalk's entertainment venues are now once again available to Guests:

The exterior look of the resort is not expected to change too much, aside from the locations that will feature new venues:

The midway games are also likely staying:

The shops located near the waterfront could receive some updates, but this was not mentioned in the original announcement:

Some of these locations definitely need an update, including Disney's Character Carnival:

Some of the kiosks located on the boardwalk are open only during certain times of the day, while others are still closed:

We certainly hope that the Surrey Bike Rentals remains untouched. It's one of the more unique features of this wonderful resort!:

The area surrounding the entrance of Trattoria al Forno is closed for refurbishment:

The restaurant is still open. To access it, Guests need to enter through the adjacent bar:
