Animal Kingdom Update: Tour of Rafiki's Planet Watch, Interacting with Kevin, & More (PART 1)
It's finally time to return to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park to enjoy all that this amazing park has to offer, including anything that's new or that we didn't notice during our last visit. Let's begin our tour by exploring Pandora:
Pandora - The World of AVATAR is still one of the most impressive themed lands ever created:
This land is filled with hidden details. Take this vehicle partially covered by vegetation, for example, We walked through this land countless times since Pandora officially opened, yet this is the first time we noticed it!:
We love just wandering around this land:
We are not sure how they got there, but some animals typically seen on earth were also present on Pandora:
Heading to Africa:
Like Pandora, Harambe features exquisite details that make you feel like you're actually in Africa:
Since we visited the park earlier in the day, we wanted to take this opportunity to visit Rafiki's Planet Watch:
The Harambe train station features a large, covered waiting area:
The Rafiki's Planet Watch station may not feature the same level of theming, but it does have some eye-catching National Geographic posters:
Rafiki's statue was missing:
The cardboard cutouts representing this popular Lion King character were still present:
