Pyrotechnic Effects to Be Used as Part of Media Event for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Today

This week, members of the media are attending the 2022 Walt Disney World Spring Media Event, which provides an overview of the new attractions and offerings debuting at the resort in the coming months and years. As part of this event, Disney will host a media preview of the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction from 7:30 p.m. to  9:00 p.m. later today.

The event will include a pyrotechnic/fireworks sequence and six (6) music tracks. Fireworks will be displayed sporadically throughout each song (based on musical timing cues) utilizing ground and rooftop sites located around the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind pavilion.

Pyrotechnic product planned for the stage and ground levels should (generally) not be seen or heard outside of the park; however, larger/higher altitude pyro pieces on rooftops will be seen & possibly heard outside the park berm and surrounding properties
