PHOTOS: Refurbished Tiger Lily Water Play Area Reopens at Disney's Vero Beach Resort

The Tiger Lily Water Play Area at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort temporarily closed for refurbishment on January 3, 2022. While the refurbishment of this water playground was originally expected to be completed by mid-March, the reopening of this area had to be delayed until mid-April due to the fact that additional maintenance had to be performed.

The splash pad is now officially open to Guests and features numerous additions, including gold accents, upgraded lighting, and a new fence. Let's take a quick look around:

While the area is fenced-in, there is no gate at this time:


While the two cannons were removed, a variety of new props now surround the ship:

The name of the water play area has not been changed:
